Wilton's Cake Decorating-Course #2

I've completed the second course and only had to make one cake. The entire three weeks previously I had to make royal icing flowers. These were then saved and put on cake the last week. This is also when I learned to do the basket weave technique and a 'rope' border. I had so much fun doing this course. I took my cake to a congregation picnic. Nobody wanted to cut in it at first. But, once it was started, the cake went fast.

I'm trying to add images (so I can share the pictures of my cakes), but I'm just not having any success with it. I may have to go to one of my online photo programs and work with it there. But, then I can shre.

I have a week off and then I'm on to Fondant & Gumpaste! Yippie! I can't wait.
