Hello and welcome to Beverly Bakes. Although I'm doing cake decorating, I'll also be doing other things that are baked. Thus, the name, Beverly Bakes.

News of my latest cake

Although I haven't done a decorative cake for a while, I did have the munchies one day and had some bananas on-hand. So, I came up with a banana cake recipe. No, not banana bread. I'm talking about an actual cake. I think I'm going to tweak it a bit and add some moisture in it. I'll probably use apple sauce or yogurt. Who knows? I might even try something a little unusual. I'm also working on a pumpkin cake recipe. I know, that's been done before too, but I do like to put my own little twist on things.
